Tyler Antonio Lynch
is a political economist and essayist specializing in questions of land, labor, and the state in the Global South. He earned his MPhil with distinction from the University of Cambridge and currently pursues his doctorate at York University, where he works in the Dahdaleh Centre for Global Health Research. He has worked in the humanitarian field with displaced populations in France and the UK, and his research and writing has been published in numerous academic and journalistic outlets.
Alexander Hodaly
is a political analyst specializing in diplomacy and conflict in and around the Levant region. He is an incoming graduate student at the University of Cambridge, researching the history of Palestinian diplomacy and the future of Palestinian statehood. Alexander brings a blend of high-level government negotiation experience and specialized regional analysis to the study of conflict in the Middle East.
Parsa Alirezaei
is a researcher of Middle Eastern and North African politics. He is currently a research assistant at Simon Fraser University’s Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies. His professional experience includes an internship at the International Court of Justice (2023–2024) and work as a researcher for Law for Palestine in 2024. His analysis of Middle East politics has been featured by CBC and The Globe and Mail (Canada), Mezopotamya Agency (Turkey), and Expresso (Portugal).
Kian Kermani
is the technical lead of the Iran War Observatory, bringing a unique intersection of technical leadership and political insight to the project. His professional career is defined by his experience as a Technical Team Lead, where he specialized in end-to-end project management and high-level systems strategy. He holds a background in Interactive Arts, Technology, and Business, disciplines he now applies to the Observatory to ensure its digital infrastructure is both robust and impactful.
